Irregular periods at 10 years old

Posting as I made a post about my 10 year old starting her periods back at the start of March and you were all so helpful.

My 10 year old daughter (year 5 primary school) had her first period on the 1st of March this year. She then had her 2nd one on the 29th of March. And now she hasn’t had one since.

I know some irregularity is normal when periods first start but it’s been 74 days since she started her second period.

Should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance

I wouldn’t worry at all if she’s otherwise well

I agree, I think that’s entirely normal if she is otherwise well.

@HumanOfTheWeek shes well in herself. No illness or lifestyle changes. It just seems such a big gap. But then, I can’t remember how mine were when I started mine

I’d be glad for her it’s not more regular.

Mine were awful as a teen and the only saving grace was that they weren’t every month. They were all over the shop until I had a baby! So wasn’t anything wrong.

This can be totally normal when they first start, they can stop and start for a while before they get into a regular rhythm.

Normal. That’s not a big gap at all. Even if it was a year, I wouldn’t be concerned.

Thank you all 🙂
