Tip toe walker age 4

My daughter turns 4 in a couple of weeks and for as long as we can remember she has been walking on her tip toes.

she does not present as a child with autism or ADHD. I keep seeing this as reasons for it, so wanted to add this in

were waiting on a physio referral and I do try tell her to walk with her flat feet. We practice “heel toe” when walking but she just doesn’t seem to be able to do it. I’m starting to worry that this will become a problem for her and I don’t know what to do.

apparently her dad (my partner) did this as a child too and he does have a particular bounce to his walking still.

any advice what I can do or try?

Don’t correct her anyway. It won’t help and can make her concious of it. Some kids walk on their tip toes because they have flat feet, look up flat feet and see if she has the symptoms then you can do exercises to help that.
