Does this look like heat rash?

My little boy (5 months) has developed this rash which is spreading, he has no temp, seems ok in himself apart from a little grouchy but it is obviously very hot in the uk right now. Oxygen/heart rate is all good on his owlet.

I would book a GP appointment but they’re closed and not sure whether to take him up the hospital.

I would call 111 for some advice.

How is baby @Rubylu. A rash is always a hard one to answer. My youngest was prone to them but I still panicked every time. Did you do glass test?

she seemed to get before teething, before and after a virus.

my eldest chronic after a virus.

they other two never.

so I am not much help, other than heat rash, in my experience is more local. Face, bum, armpits. Back of neck.

@pteromum it has got much worse it’s all over his body and he’s refusing milk feeds, we now think it’s HFM, I did take him to the pharmacy and they weren’t concerned but I guess there’s not much they can do!

It’s so hard. My best advice is follow your instinct.

my children have had scarlet fever about four times. Which can only be caught once.

ive had a child hospitalised with chicken pox, who sleeps with her siblings and they didn’t get it.

look for the signs you have done and if any doubt at all take them in.
