Has anyone’s child had an EMG test? If so was it painful or traumatic in any way. Our neurologist said it’s non invasive but Google says it involves small needles.

Most EMG recordings stick electrodes on the skin. Like a plaster but with electronics in.

there is a thing called intramuscular emg that involves needles but I doubt they’d do that for a kid.
