Nc as this is identifying to people who know me and doesn’t my other posts linked to it.

does anyone have any recommendations for what this could be please? DS is 2.5 been there for well over a year. Been back and forth to GP had different creams and acne treatments for it. Nothing makes any difference.

was referred to dermatology for another issue and they told me the spots were toddler acne, prescribed yet another acne cream which again made absolutely no difference.

wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and could help please? Thanks

looks like Molluscum contagiosum to me, usually starts with one bump and spreads and doesn't resolve with creams

Echo the suggestion of molluscum. My DD1(now 18) had it when she was nine or ten. It lasted for about 18 months and then went of its own accord. I don’t think there’s anything you can actually do to treat it.

It looks very red for molluscum but could be if it's getting picked at or bothered. Could you put some of those hydrocolloid pimple patches on them overnight to help speed healing and prevent picking?

Thanks will have another look at the molluscum. Doesn’t get picked or scratched, it’s just red permanently. Doesn’t seem itchy or sore.
