Chronic Constipation - NG tubes!

Just looking for some advice please.
my 9 year old daughter is currently waiting for her diagnosis to come through for AuDHD
she has sensory needs especially when it comes to food and drink, she doesn’t have a lot of safe foods.
she’s been suffering with constipation since December last year. It’s now been 11 weeks since she has had a proper bowel movement, she had over spill, and has had a few small watery leaks but nothing substantial. The doctors have said there is nothing medically wrong with her, they think it’s physiological.

She had done the dis impaction regime, has been on movicol, lactulose, and ducolax since December but for the last 4 weeks she has refused any movicol as she can’t swallow it anymore. She has had suppository’s and enemas and both failed. Despite every effort the doctors have now decided she needs to be admitted and have a NG tube due to give her the movicol that way.

I would just like to know if anyone else has been in this situation or similar?
how long was your child in hospital for?
did the NG tube work?
what stopped them from getting blocked up for that amount of time again?
Thank you.

As someone who's got slow transit and suffered constipation all my life, its usually a week from start to finish in hospital when I get to that point (far too often). Good luck, also advocate for transit tests as 11 weeks is a long time for psychological
