Photosensitivity on EEG meaning?

Hi all,
Just looking to see if anyone had any similar experiences or stories etc.

For context my 5yr old, within 3yrs has had 4x febrile convulsions and 1x what the docs call a 'atypical tonic clinic seizure' - they couldn't find a reason for why it happened. He has recently had some new tests done, and the results have shown that his EEG hasn't shown any type of epileptic activity however it has shown he is photosensitive. We've got to wait for a clinic appointment but that's said to be within the next six months. Its whether being photosensitive is a type of epilepsy itself or is it something that is more of a risk factor that could cause future seizures. I guess its taken 3yrs and lots of appointments to even get some sort of possible answer and left in limbo again waiting for clinic appointment to understand what we are going to do with him going forward.
