My DS11 has eczema and allergies, however.. for the last three weeks he’s had increasingly itchy skin on his torso and scalp, this is completely new and doesn’t align with past symptoms. It started on his scalp so I checked for lice, none. Unfortunately we’ve had scabies before, so a rash would have appeared by now also.
I can’t understand what is going on, his skin is naturally quite dry so we are moisturising it numerous times daily as usual, with his normal skincare products. I’ve not changed any products in the house or washing.
We’ve been to the GP and they just shrugged and said they don’t know and it may resolve on its own. He has got a couple of small darker patches on his back, they look like scars if I’m honest that maybe aren’t new, or maybe I’m hyper focused, or maybe they are new. I just don’t know.
Any ideas? Suggestions? Advice?
