Sleep EEG

My 7 year old is having a sleep EEG next week. Has anyone else’s child had one and did they find it scary? My partner is going to take her (she has another test under a general later in the week which I will be going to) but I’m now wondering if I should be at both if I can get work to agree.

My dc has had a few. They didn’t find it scary. It is a bit of a faff/uncomfotable having the electrodes attached/removed. They were largely confined to bed but the nurses were good providing telly/video games. There may also be a “play” person going about.

Thanks. I’ve got the time off work anyway but glad go hear it wasn’t upsetting.
