Hello,

looking for some advice my 15 week old voice become hoarse around 2 weeks ago. She is otherwise well in herself no temp or cols Symptoms.

feeding wise she is feeding ok but her latch has got weak and milk seems to pour out the sides of her mouth when feeding. She often coughs/chokes mid feed. Unsure if I’m wasting a gp time taking her there as I’m often made to feel like I’m wasting their time whenever I have taking my older child.

thank you

I’d see gp, it sounds like silent reflux. Try to keep her upright after feeds and make sure she gets her wind out.
Can you seek breastfeeding support? so they can check your latch. Our local family hub had a breastfeeding group.

I work in healthcare and you absolutely would not be wasting anyone's time taking her to the GP.

My little one had silent reflux and had some of these symptoms.
