My son has been having some difficulty with his hearing and it is now starting to affect his speech. He is slowly regressing as time goes on. He's always been a really good talker and very clear. But now he's becoming difficult to understand and can't make certain sounds. We know it's likely glue ear from speaking to the GP but also potentially needs adenoids removed.
Was just wondering if anyone has been through similar and knows the wait times on the NHS?
I have private healthcare but unfortunately the closest place they could treat him due to his age and which hospitals are covered is Leeds. And we live close to Newcastle. So just deciding whether it'd be worth waiting or sucking up and travelling to Leeds a few times. (He's almost 4)
