Does this look like blood in 2yo’s stool or is it food?

i can’t say but if they have eaten beetroot recently it could change the colour.

He’s had no beetroot but has had strawberries, watermelon and tomato pasta.

Might be TMI, but managed to pick some of the red bits out with toilet paper and cleaned them up and they look like good skins. They’re fibrous and not spreading so assuming it’s not blood?

I was gonna say tomato can do this and based on your update sounds like it’s not blood

Nope my vote would be not blood, it would be much darker - blackish even. Looks much more like a food dye.
