Our daughter is 16m and has been advised that she will need surgery for her torticollis. Has anyone had any experience of stating physio this late and managing to fix the issue before needing surgery? We’re based in the UK and live in the Cotswolds. I wondered if there’s any alternatives to physio as well.

Has she had this since birth? Has she gad any physio so far?

We did. DS had a giant head and had a kind of bad case of torticollis around that same age. It developed around 12 months and we were so stressed out about it. We took him for x-rays and there was nothing in the bony structures but his neck was really weak and his head was practically on his shoulder. We did some gentle stretching of the muscles and reminded him to try and hold his head up. It got better and resolved as he got stronger and bigger.
