My LO turns 7 months old soon and still often has his hands lightly clenched when he isn’t using them. He also keeps his thumb in the palm. He will stretch the thumb out to grab toys/food etc. I’m not concerned about hugs milestones. He was sitting from 5 months and rolling back to belly. He can now roll belly to back. He’s not crawling yet but is trying to pull himself forward to get toys that are out of reach. He’s also weaning well. Every time I read about thumbs in palms it always points to CP. I mentioned this at his 6 months check up but they didn’t seem worried and said he would have another check between 9-12 months. Has anyone had something similar with their babies?
