Baby Diarrhea Going on 2 Weeks

I'm a first time mum and my 4 month old EBF baby developed diarrhea after I started taking strong iron tablets and stool softener. I immediately stopped after three tablets. Baby was back to normal after a day however I stupidly forgot about the breast milk I had been pumping whilst on the tablets which my husband fed to the baby whilst I was at an appointment a few days later. Since then she has had very bad diarrhea after every feed going on two weeks now. She's well in herself. Just diarrhea. The GP seems to think it might be CMPA. Does this sound right? To come on so suddenly and with only diarrhea as a symptom. She's sent off a stool sample and we're waiting for the results. I suspect they'll be negative even if it is a virus due to the limited testing on the NHS.

Lots (lots) of women take iron tablets while breastfeeding (I did), so I doubt it's that. When was baby's last rotavirus dose?
