My son (2.5 yo) has a speech delay. We went for a (private) hearing test as recommended by his speech therapist.
He was found to have glue ear and mild hearing loss in both ears. The audiologist said to test again in three months and then consider grommets.
The audiologist was okay, but not brilliant - he wasn’t great at engaging with my son, or explaining the results clearly to us.
Can anyone recommend an audiologist for glue ear and potential treatment? Can an ENT consultant also test or would they just be for the grommets surgery?
Any recommendations for London or Buckinghamshire would be a big help.
