And she hasn't injured it. It's been hurting on and off (not too badly) for a few days but we thought she'd just strained it somehow. Today it started to look swollen so DH took her to A&E. It's now hurting to bear weight and she says it feels 'clicky'. She's had an x-ray and they said there's a patch(?) on the joint in the image, doing some blood tests but they haven't found a diagnosis yet, it's not an obvious injury-type thing. They're likely to discharge her tonight and organise a follow up appointment for her later this week.
Anyone had experience of similar?
