12 month has never been the same

So my soon to be 1 year old has not been herself since December. She had started off with a fever which lasted a week. She had symptoms of lethargy and loss of appetite and persistent crying.
once her fever had gone, she had a few good days but then after that she has no fever but still the same symptoms. She doesn’t even smile and play with her brothers. She used to love jumping on the bouncer and she no longer does that. It’s like she has lost all her strength and has no energy.
i had introduced abidec when she first stopped eating and I continue to breastfeed her but that is all she takes.
she had her 12 month check in with the HV and she was doing well in terms of her weight. She was in between 50-75th percentile. 4 weeks later, after lots of 111 calls and drs appointments expressing my concern, she had dropped to just on the 25th percentile. Drs are saying she seems alert and this must be something viral but surely it cannot go on for this long. It’s really tiring as well. She has recently been prescribed antibiotics, as a back up, and I have been giving it to her. This is her 4th day but she has shown no improvement. Any advice??
I have made a GP appointment but that is now on Monday. I am really concerned.

Oh sweet girl. Bless her. It can take babies a while to get over illnesses and they also seem to catch them all at once! Definitely raise it again at the GP, there may be something else going on but I wouldn't have a clue as to what. Hoping she will be ok soon x

Thank you. I just hope I get some answers

It’s definitely not normal for a baby to be off their food for two months. That’s such an important point that maybe the docs have missed. Sounds like she might have some kind of tummy issue? Definitely warrants a pushy GP visit and don’t be fobbed off. Stopping playing and eating aren’t normal things. Poor girl I really hope she’s on the mend soon.

Thank you. Yes I will bring this up with the GP. I just find it weird how any health professionals are not really concerned.
