It's kind of hard to see and it's a little darker/pronounced in person. Looks like a cross between a bruise and a flat rash, little purple dots. No other areas have it as far as I can tell, just this side of his head near the hair line.
My 12m old is in good form, no other symptoms. Don't think he banged his head.
He has recently finished a course of antibiotics for one of many ear infections this winter.
Is it petechiae, and should I phone the dr. Been to the dr loads lately and trying not to look like a paranoid FTM
