My children have had about 4 episodes of throwing up since December!! They KEEP getting stomach bugs - why is this happening? Anyone else seem to have a never-ending bug in the house?

…because schools encourage unwell children in, because there’s usually several pretty horrid viruses going around the class and because however many rounds of covid messes with your immune system. Windows are often closed now for thermal comfort and many viruses are airborne. Hope LO is better soon.

In our school very few parents keep children off the recommended 48 hours after the last episode. Most our in the next day.

It feels similar in our home at the moment. Nobody had has the virus twice, but it seems to take a week or more for the next person to succumb, and there are six of us, so it has been one after the other for well over a month. I just about get the laundry done, the sick bucket away and the child back to school and then someone else gets ill 🤢

Summer will be here soon 🤞🏻

Glad it's not just us. We have 8 children so maybe that's part of it it's like a sick carousel in the house lol. I'm so done with illness and yes roll on summer!!
