Yes double the water for two sachets. You can put in her bottle if you like.

Ive found it goes a weird consistency in milk - if you mean mixed with milk in a morning bottle, I’d double check it’s drinkable. We manage best mixing in a bit of fruit cordial to make it palatable

Sunshineclouds11 · 31/01/2026 20:51

@tinyrobot2Does it curdle abit? It's cows milk.
tbh does make me feel abit sick thinking about haha.

Will try adding some squash thank you

Not quite curdle - but almost, sort of clumpy! I don’t notice when I first gave it and she drank some but I felt awful when I noticed it, it can’t have been nice! Squash works much better 😂

HarryVanderspeigle · 01/02/2026 09:44

We mixed it in water first, then added to milk. Agree it doesn't mix in well if you add to milk dry, but it was fine mixing once dissolved.

Sunshineclouds11 · 01/02/2026 11:50

Yeah, sorry I meant to mix with water first then to add to milk.

We've always mixed it with water, then apple juice, and done it split, one dose in the morning, one at tea time. It's a case of finding whatever they find tolerate! The ERIC charity pages might have some advice as well.

Invisablepanic · 01/02/2026 12:04

We also mix with water then squash, although my DS is older. He's on it long term so I don't love him having squash every day mind!

If you're going to be using it for a little while I would recommend one of the little milk whisks from Amazon as it blends it fully, sometimes with a spoon I find tiny lumps.

Sunshineclouds11 · 01/02/2026 15:03

@InvisablepanicYeah I've never gave her juice until today 🙈and it's not something I want to do everyday tbh.
Abit of trial and error I think till we find something that works best.

My child started on Movicol at 12 months and I tried mixing it with all sorts. He never took it as must have made everything else taste funny. In the end I just gave it to him as is with the water and while it took a while to build up ( luckily his constipation wasn’t bad, so I felt ok it not being consistently taken to start with) he now drinks it every day after breakfast and has done for a year. Think he quite likes the salty taste and expects it. Just something to consider, as stealth tactics for us just put him off other foods/ drinks.
