Non blanching spot

My daughter has been ill all weekend. Rash on cheek cough runny nose etc..
However I e now noticed a single red/purple non blanching spot on her heel. She has a rash on her lower back but that fades when pressed. No temp. She's pretty miserable and tired. Should I worry or not since it's just one?

I'd ask 111, I would never chance it with a non blanching rash and they'd rather you call and it be nothing than you leave it and it be something.

This is one of those judgements you pass to the professionals. The NHS guidance is what it is for a reason.

Well we were told to go to hospital. They said they aren't worried about the spot for now however to keep an eye and go straight back if more appear.
Also need to keep an eye out for enough wet nappies and her feeding as it's been less.
Her back rash looks like chicken pox but no blisters yet so have to wait and see.
She's done one wee in 6 hours and we were told to go back if nothing in 6. If her nappy is dry by 9 am i will go back as just put a clean one on. She's also just had a bottle but 5 ounces instead of 7 so will see.

Oh no- I hope your LO is better soon.

Oh dear, hope she doesn't get it too bad op!
my two have both had it and I found bicarbonate of soda in the bath helped massively and dried them out quickly, if she's struggling with it.

Poxclin mousse helped my baby with chickenpox enormously. It helped the itching and is so easy to apply. He was covered head to toe in blisters but seems to have come away unscathed when it comes to scarring. You haven’t mentioned how old your baby is but we found socks on the hands helped for scratching. I hope she feels better soon, it’s horrible when they are poorly.

Thank you everyone 🙏 she's 9 months old.
