Does this look normal??

My 11 year old has her normal top row of teeth and then one tooth growing in her gum above her teeth. Has the dentist next week but just want to see if anyone's experienced this??

Yup. When the baby tooth below falls out the adult tooth moved into place.

Dh was late 20s when that happened for him!

They just need to be encouraged to wobble the baby tooth out then adult tooth will drop into place.

It looks weird because the adult tooth is coming through whilst baby tooth is still in.

Happens a lot , particularly if children are a bit squeamish about wobbling teeth.
