I’m probably being paranoid here but just after some general views…
My two year old has always been a terrible sleeper, waking several times a night. About four weeks ago he suddenly started sleeping through. Initially we thought this was great, however I’m just getting a bit concerned about how much he is sleeping.
He’s still asleep now (went to bed about 8.20pm last night but usual bedtime is 7.30ish) and this has been the norm throughout Christmas. Before Christmas we were waking him each day for nursery. I’m just about to wake him now else who knows what time he would sleep until!
So he’s gone from waking two - four times a night and up for the day at 6.30, to suddenly sleeping for 13/14 hours straight a night. He also still has a nap (he’s always loved a long day time nap, we regularly have to wake him from it).
He is fine in himself, perhaps more grouchy and clingy than normal but then we are all out of routine and seeing family etc who he doesn’t always see a lot of.
I’m sure he’s probably just catching up on all the lost sleep over the last 2.5 years, but would this ring alarm bells with anyone?
