Hey , can someone give me some advice to stop me from panicking please. I have a 3.5 year old and I suffer with very bad anxiety as it is so anything makes me panic like crazy. Today my dad took my child for a haircut and he called me asking if he banged his head anywhere which I don’t believe he did. I asked why and he told me that while getting the haircut they notice his head has a lump / is uneven at the bottom. He’s had his haircut many times and they never expressed concerns until today. His last one was about a month ago and my dad thinks it might have been there but not 100% sure and they only expressed concerns today. Obviously that put me into panic mode and I went straight to book a gp appointment but typical they only gave me one for a weeks time so now I’m left panicking until then. I think I’m most scared that it could be a tumour which I’m praying it’s not and he’s fine in himself , no pain or redness around it. I just need some advice or if anyone had anything similar with their child.

Someone please give me some advice

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi op, is it a hard lump (like does it feel like his skull) or soft and squishy?

Hey @Freyer it’s hard to touch but you can feel the unevenness when touching it. He did have a flat head when he was a baby and this is the shortest he has ever had his hair so I’m wondering if that’s why you can see it more. Im at a point where I forgot if he’s had it before or not because of my panic mode.
