My three year old son is due to have surgery to have his tonsils and adenoids on Tuesday. He has suddenly has a really snotty nose does this mean the surgery will be cancelled?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Not necessarily it will be up to the anaesthetist on the day. Just a snotty nose might not be a problem but if he becomes unwell or gets a temperature then you’ll have to cancel. You’ve got til Tuesday for things to change.
