Hello my 12 year old son has got a pea sized non painful ( tender if I squeeze it to check it) non growing none bothersome lump. I took him to the GP he didn't even seem bothered and just basically said seems like a cyst and off you go.. I have really bad health anxiety and I'm worried about it. Does anyone have any advice ?

It's not that unusual to have harmless little cysts. If it's annoying him you can pay to get it removed. If you post on Sporner corner you will make some people v happy..

Only a dermatologist can say for sure. It could be a skin coloured mole or a sebaceous cyst.

Its definitely not a mole I was more worried about cancerous lump but the doctor said it's very extremely unheard of.
