Hi does this look like normal bowel movements for a 5 weeks old formula fed baby?
She goes every other day and they’re quite watery and the past two times she’s ended up leaking through her nappy.

There is quite a lot of mucus in there.

@Lookingforthejoy I often thought this but was unsure as to what the mucus looks like in baby poo. Is it just when it is kind of like stringy if that makes sense?

@Lookingforthejoy this was last week, I showed my midwife at my discharge appointment and she said it looked normal but I was still unsure

This stringy but very shiny bit is the clearest bit of mucus in that photo.

My DDs both had cmpa do I don’t know what normal looks like at that age!

From what I remember that looks quiet normal to me.

My daughter had mucusy poo was worst than this till she started solid. She had no other symptoms and all her siblings has CMPA. I ignored it and when she started solid her poo became normal
I showed it to the gp when she was 4 months
he said give it one more month and it he doesn’t go away we can start eliminating diet anyways when I went to see go again it was to e
