Dd started to feel unwell 10 days ago. Main complaint is tiredness and nausea. Headache in early days- says that’s not too bad now. No notable temperature- no diarrhoea

she was sick on day 1 and day 3. Felt lots better and went out with me on day 8- then in the afternoon said was feeling unwell again. Threw up 2x that night. We’re about 30 hours past the last time she was sick - she’s still just very tired.

Other than rest and fluids is there something I should be doing for her?

Take her to the docs? With those symptoms and this length of time it could be something bacterial like salmonella (husband had this) in which case antibiotics would help

I'd ring 111 for advice.

Vomiting alone without diarrhoea shouldn't be labeled gastroenteritis without considering other options, particularly if not settling. It's probably nothing serious but please get her checked out. Had anyone else at home been sick?

No one else at home has gotten ill, but all
her good friends at school have been off with sickness.

At home she’s mostly been isolating in her room and wears a mask when she comes downstairs.

She seemed to be on the mend on Sunday and Monday and spent time with us but when she was clearly not well again we went back to isolating.
