ADHD help…

11 year old grandson is showing signs of ADHD, only noticed it this year as he is playing soccer. He does not run very well, flaps his hands, when comes on field, and fidgets when playing board games or card games. He gets quite a bit of screen time at home, even ten he always has something in his mouth, shirt, straw…..How can we help him, looking for advice….

That doesn’t remotely sound like ADHD. It does sound like autism though. Have his parents taken him to a GP? Do they have concerns?

Agreed, that sounds more like Autism than ADHD. Have a look at ASD symptoms and see if anything else matches.
