Is there a strange bug going on?

My son (5) was unwell the other week with a temp for a few days on and off and generally unwell. (no cold/snot/ sickness bug symptoms it was all very strange)
He seemed to get better slowly then the other day randomly woke up in the morning upset with stomach pains and vomited (mucus) and was fine again straight after.

Since, he's been okay but he just doesn't seem 'right' he seems a little washed out, but is absolutely starving and eating loads and loads but weeing loads too. He has also had hiccups and lots of wind the last few days also. It's all very strange. He had a urine sample done the other week which came back clear. Is there any strange bugs going around that are lasting a month or so??

Bump? Anyone else's kids had a long non specific illness recently ?

It's more likely to be back to back viruses. Loads going around.

My daughter was generally unwell with occasional headaches / feeling under the weather for about 5 days but it never really developed into anything. She’s fine now but I think it was possibly some low level virus like this.

How much is he drinking? Is he waking in the night for the toilet?

Diabetes

I am sure u have seen my endless posts about my kids. They seem to catch every virus and give them Gi symptoms including hiccups burpin and choking 😢

I'd go back to the GP & ask them to retest a urine sample / do a finger prick test. You said the urine sample was done the other week, he's showing symptoms of diabetes. You need to insist he's checked again.
