Chicken pox / HFM

Hi my sons nursery has both HFM and chicken pox going around at the moment by son is breaking out in spots in different areas started yesterday afternoon with a small cluster on his belly, none above the belly or torso, but has spots on arms and hands none in his more more quiet than usual no temp.

Any ideas will check by chemist In the morning

I'd say chicken pox. HFM is usually a bit spotty around the mouth and a cold for a week and then that may progress to the worst sore throat known to man and spots on hands, fingers and toes, but it wouldn't be the torso (unless you're actually talking about a viral rash rather than spots).
