Urgent😔Does it sound postnasal drip in Ds

Whenever Ds get flu, he wakes up at night swallowing, choking and even coughing!
is this post nasal drip he keeps swollowing at night and maybe chokes ? It only occurs when he has a flu.
he is 7

I don’t know but how many flus has he had, do you get him vaccinated?

How many times has he had full blown flu at 7 or do you mean he gets the drip every time he has a heavy cold ? What you are describing is relatively normal if your DS gets heavily congested when he has a cold.

He had 2 times this year like sore throat or flu always followed by waking up choking at night and it’s like he swollowing fluid and choking

even when u hear like some liquid coming up his throat and he keeps swollowing it and sometimes it over comprises him and then he chokes on it and wake up panicking !
