Feeling anxious, my son used to grind his teeth very badly when little . His baby teeth were ground down alot. I woild wake him up l, because the noise would make me cringe. Dentist always said he woild out grow it.
Since some of his adult teeth have come through I haven't noticed him grinding( although I don't sleep next to him frequently) when on holiday a few times a year I do and haven't noticed it. His teeth aren't straight , we live in spain and ge had a palate expander 2 years ago .
I've just noticed his 2 top later incisor look chipped. I've got him to close his teeth together and it's exactly where the bottom and top meet. I don't know how his dentist and orthodontist hace missed this . I also feel bad as haven't been checking (he brushes himself with a electric Toothbrush and has been praised on how clean his teeth are )
I'm going to call the dentist tomorrow.
Has anyone been in a similar situation with their child. I don't want him to have already ruined his adult teeth at 10 years old. I'm reading contradicting things about mouth gaurds in children at this age
