Dd13 banged her head on the wall while swinging her head at school. She got a headache that didn’t go away. Week later we saw gp who said that it’s post concussion headache. One months later we saw different gp who said the same. Well three months later we saw gp registrar who put referral to children’s hospital. We got appointment two months later and the general paediatrician fobbed us off. Apparently she doesn’t drink enough, eats chocolate, not enough exercise and too much screen time. Dd continues having this continuing headache.

Has she had her eyes tested? Sorry that she's having a miserable time.

she two years ago but planning to get them tested. We also follow doctors advice with screen time etc.

I'd push for an MRI. My neighbour's teen daughter was given one with post concussion syndrome, and her headaches did go on for quite a long time. Once you have confirmed there is nothing else going on (which is the most likely scenario) you can treat the symptoms.

I am planning to follow the doctors advice for one month so to see if that helps. Luckily dd is agreeing. Then I will contact go again.
