Hi everyone!
My child was born with cysts on his neck. It took us 1,5 year to get him properly checked (referred to pediatrics + ultrasound). Child was struggling with head movements and sleep as cysts triggering him and he simply can't find comfortable position for sleep.
So, after scan I chased hospital 3 months and didn't get any reply with results. Did the same ultrasound privately and was told that cysts will be growing and will affect his neck movements.
We started a nursery, they refused to take my son after first 3 days as they couldn't settle him down for sleep because of his neck.
Contacted GP, HV - both sent us back to pediatrics.
Today I got an appointment with doctor and I'm shocked. He said these kind of cysts are not dangerous and he is discharging me. I disagreed and told him about our struggles with sleep and nursery. I asked him for follow up as we simply can't get nursery because of it (we tried childminder and were told the same, that she won't look after child who has medical issues). Doctor laughed, said that he can't help me with that and my child has development issues (which is not true, we had several appointments with GP and HV ).
What do I do next? I was thinking to go to PALS but reading about them - maybe it's worth to ask referal from GP again and expect it won't be the same doctor?
I would really appreciate if someone could give me their opinions....

And I told doctor that we have really bad nights when my son scratches his neck until blood comes out + banging his head to cot ,crying, etc. He told me that's behaviour and development issues. My son is absolutely OK, no signs of Autism, etc. Even my HV said she has zero worries about his development.
