Myopia lens specsavers

Hi there
I'm hoping there may be someone who can tell me the difference between the two myopia lens offers from specsavers. MyoEyes are their own brand which are much more affordable and have been introduced recently I think. My daughter has had miyosmart for just over a year and they stopped myopia progression. I'm wondering if I can go for the new cheaper option without losing the benefit but I'm not sure why they are cheaper.
Any help appreciated!

I don’t have any advice unfortunately but I’m relieved to hear that Specsavers have their own brand now. With two children needing myopia lenses it gets very expensive! I’m also happy to hear that your daughter’s lenses are working. My daughters are due a check-up soon to see how they’re getting on with their first pair.

We are looking at these too. The problem is that there is not sufficient data on them yet as they have not been on the market for long. The indications are that Miyoeyes are less effective at slowing the progress of myopia, however. Is your daughter active? Mine is, and apparently they are less robust than Miyosmart as they are made from a different material. I'm still on the fence and may hold off for a while.

They're cheaper for a reason.
