Baby not feeding whilst awake

Hi, please could someone give me some advice or tips.
My little one refuses to drink milk when awake instead just plays with the bottle. This has been going on for just over 2 months, it’s becoming quite stressful. I’m having to feed my baby once drowsy/sleeping.
Any recommendations on how to get over this would be appreciated!!

My youngest did this. It started at about the 2 month mark and went on until weaning properly kicked in around month 7. Honestly it was awful, he would scream his head off if I tried to feed him while he was awake. I think it was probably silent reflux but nothing really resolved it other than him aging out of it. He dropped a couple of percentiles but is now a hollow legged teenager so no lasting damage

that’s not much help to you I know, other than you are not alone and eventually it will pass

It sounds like bottle aversion , you might want to check out Rowena Bennett’s book on aversion, it usually works really well.
