I wish the drs wouldn't be so vague

I know they have to, so people don't sue them for getting a diagnosis wrong but I'm finding it hard. Ds is in hospital after having a cyst removed. Since March we have been told it is probably is a cyst, doesn't look "sinister", definitely a cyst and then yesterday we were told it's probably not "sinister" . Then today a different dr said we would get the biopsy results in about 6 weeks and find out if he needs "further treatment". I wish they would say the word cancer if that's what they mean by sinister. And when they say further treatment does that mean they are still thinking cancer or something else.

Until they get the biopsy results they won’t know if any treatment is needed at all, but they are planting the seed that it may be a possibility. It’s the most they can do to prepare you for if some treatment is actually needed.

I’m sorry you are dealing with this, I know how awful the waiting is. I hope all turns out to be okay Flowers
