Hi, I’ve had tinnitus for the last 10 years it’s mainly in my left ear and it’s a ringing type . But one time I did get pulsatile in my left ear that went away. Tonight my 4 year old told me he hears a sound in his ears when going to sleep I asked him what and he made like a whooshing sound like whoo whoo whoo I’m assuming like his heartbeat. We came home from holidays last Friday and on Saturday she was crying with a pain in his left ear. I gave him nurofen and he wasn’t complaining the next day with it so I didn’t bring him to the Dr’s. He says it’s in both ears.

I’m really worried about him now as I know how distressing tinnitus was for me for many years and I wouldn’t wish it on my poor baby. I’ll bring him to the Dr’s tomorrow to rule out ear infection but I’ll be devastated if this is something he has 😭

I have gotten this since I can remember. I was a small child when it started. It only happens when I'm very tired. I learned early on it was my body's way of telling me I need to sleep.
