Face warts

My little girl (7) has really bad warts on her hands. We’d previously been a bit hit or miss treating them with bazuka extra strength (prescribed by dermatologist) because she fussed about it so much, but have been really thorough the last few weeks and seen improvement. Unfortunately she also has them on her face, mainly from sucking her fingers. I’m reluctant to use the tiny bit that the dermatologist recommended on them because it makes them look so sore and painful. She really gets upset about it.

Has anyone got any experience of this or magic recommendations?

Not recent and not on her hands but my young teenage DD had a wart on her forehead. She was really distressed about it and it was affecting her self esteem. After many requests our GP reluctantly agreed to freeze it. He warned us of possible scarring but we (and DD) felt that it was a risk worth taking. It fell off within days and left no visible scar.
I have no magic recommendations and know it is unlikely that the NHS today will offer the same treatment. If you can afford it I would go private and have them frozen off.
