Son has a small rash that keeps coming up on face

Hi, I have a 5 year old son and he keeps getting a rash on his face mainly around his eyes and cheeks. The spots on the are only tiny, the only way I can describe is like small red freckles. They went when he was on antibiotics for a chest infection but came back yesterday. If anyone has any idea what it could be could you let me know please?

IANAD but they look like petechiae to me - tiny burst blood vessels.

They can be caused by straining (I get them when I vomit) but also by infections or some blood disorders.

If he's been vomiting or coughing really hard it's probably that, but otherwise I'd see the GP to check it out.
