When to go back to GP

My two year old has been ill for the last three weeks - started as a cough. She has a history of viral induced wheeze and needed to use her inhaler for a few days. Cough then started improving, it was still there but not too bad and didn’t need an inhaler anymore. This lasted a few days and then she started to go downhill again. She had a fever for a few days that was responding to Calpol and a runny nose and a cough. Took her to the GP on Tuesday who said her ears and throat were both red and her chest was clear so probably viral. Since then she’s gone downhill again. She’s not had a fever for just over 24 hours but the coughing has become quite intense. She seems exhausted, she’s been asleep more than she’s been awake the last few days, she’s not really eating anything but is drinking water and milk. She was up all night just coughing constantly and is now starting to sound a bit wheezy again 🤦‍♀️

If you’re concerned take her. The cough and wheeze may need antibiotics.

Take her back, ask to see a different doctor.
My middle one ended up in A+E on a nebulizer at 2 as the doc fobbed me off 3 times!
3 weeks of up and down she needs additional support for her little body.
