Hi im wondering if anyone can hep.
our little one went to her first full day at creche yesterday. No rash on her yesterday morning. Creche had rung to say she has come out in spots, on belly back and head.

she hasnt been herself last few days. Drinking less milk not fussed on solids. Very sleepy.
We took her to GP yesterday and they had said chicken pox.
but this morning I cant see any more spots that have come up?
any idea what could be?
photos are from yesterday day.

If the GP has said chicken pox, I’d assume that’s correct. Have any turned fluid filled?

She might not get any more spots. A friend of mine’s son only had about 10 - and it was definitely chicken pox because his sister and half the nursery children (including mine) were covered.

even her spots this morning are kind of disappearing and not as prominent as these photos from yesterday.

Could be hand foot and mouth or a different virus. Chicken pox takes one-three weeks to incubate, whereas HMFD is two-three days incubation before spots.
