Chickenpox

I thought it was quite rare to get chickenpox more than once. There are people in school who’ve now had it two or three times already. Is this the same where you are? It’s only a one form entry primary.

It CAN happen but it's really unusual. Normally one of the rounds of chickenpox will actually have been something else that blisters (like hand foot and mouth) or else shingles (reactivation of chickenpox virus VZV). But given that most diagnosis is by eye rather than swab, it's likely that some diagnoses by even GPs and pharmacists are incorrect, unless they took a swab for a PCR test.

If they have it when very young, or very mildly, they are more likely to have it again.
