Can I put up a suppository while he is asleep
he is holding a poo and I tried when he was awake which he refused and caused more trauma ?

If it is prescribed by a medic, yes, although depending on what medication it is, be aware that it is likely to wake him as it will work swiftly.

Yes, you can but it’s also quite straight forward to do when he thinks you are changing a nappy or drying after a bath.

I’ve done it out of desperation, had been over ten days.

Nothing happened!! (Other than I felt AWFUL doing it).

Only thing to work was shedloads of Movicol, and getting him to drink that was almost as tricky as the suppository.

You do what you’ve got to do, and good luck.
