How do you know if it’s chicken pox? Can’t go to the pharmacy as not suppose to go out if it is so do you just keep them off school just in case?

I think by tomorrow morning you will know. Where did the spots appear? Can you post a photo of them here?

Luxio · 30/09/2025 16:11

Just wait and see it will obvious by tomorrow if it is or isn't, they are quick at coming up and an obvious appearance. If they have spots that you suspect might be chicken pox then yes keep them off school but it should be obvious by the morning.

How will it be obvious sorry never dealt with this before. School said to take to pharmacy but won’t they be annoyed at me if it is as not suppose to go out

The spots will turn into blisters if CP. For most, not all children with CP the spots will spread very quickly.

The pharmacy shouldn't mind. But if you're concerned you could call them and arrange a time to go down/go to side door/pharmacist pop outside to minimise risk.
