Hi
My son who is 14 years old have had pancreatitis 3 times since August 1st this year, the hospital can't find a cause he is still waiting on results for genetics, I am really worried as we haven't got an appointment with a specialist until November this year and we are really hoping to see someone before then as we are unsure if he will have anymore attacks, has anyone been through similar and has gone private?
Thank you so much x

There are rare allergies that can cause pancreatitis, I would try keeping a food diary. I've had pancreatitis due to gallstones, (diagnosed) but pretty sure I've also had it (very mildly) after eating a particular food item, which I no longer eat
