Constipation help!

My daughter (5) has been suffering with constipation and a*al fissures going on two years. I have taken her to the GP on numerous occasions and they have been prescribing her lactulose and Movicol, the GP’s advise was to start of with two packets and then give less over time. I followed his instructions but then realized that when I stopped giving it to her the issue persists. I tried everything I could and nothing seemed to help because of the pain she was in, it was making her fear going to the toilet and even causing her to hold in her urine, she would have accidents at home and school due to this.
I decided that I need to try something that was a bit stronger so I gave her a few raw senna pads (take out the seeds as they cause bad tummy pains). I gave it to her on Saturday evening so by Sunday afternoon she would use the toilet. I done this for about a month and now she has started going to the toilet on her own, finally, the fissures have healed and she’s not in pain anymore!
I just wanted to post this as I’ve seen recently that ALOT of young kids are suffering with severe constipation & it seems like no one takes it seriously (GP’s). I know it might not work in every case but if I can help a parent who sees no out as I did, I’ll be happy.
I use 4 senna pads (removing seeds)
Put in half a cup of boiling water
Let it cool down fully and then give to drink.
It does taste fowl so maybe give them a lollipop or something in between each mouthful. If you are giving it make sure it’s when they’re at home so Friday or Saturday.
Let me know if you’ve tried it and how it’s worked for you and your little one.
