My 11 week old rolled off the sofa whilst with her dad and twin sister whilst I was in the kitchen. She was crying when she fell but was calmed down after a cuddle. She had a small lump on her head but at the time we thought it was her head shape as she has a funny head shape at the moment. By the morning it was completely gone but after 48 hours she had a bruise which then dissappear after a day. She drank a bottle of milk 10 minutes later after the fall. We took online advise for signs to watch out for as she seemed herself (maybe a bit more cuddley and tired). I kept a close eye on her for 48 hours. She was drinking normally, she was smiling and babbling, weeing and pooing, waking for her milk normally, her pupils were normal. She still seems fine but I still question if she should of been seen just incase but everyone said they would monitor her as that's probably what they would of told you to do anyway. Anyway, my question is. She's due her 12 week vaccinations Thursday. Do you think she will be ok having them? She had her accident 10 days ago.

I’m sure she’ll be fine but mention it to the nurse at the appointment if it puts your mind at ease.

Their dad needs to watch his children better though.

This was over a week ago and she seems fine? What do you think is the issue and are you generally anxious?

CMC13 · 23/09/2025 16:02

@Wolfiefan I have got post partum anxiety so I'm anxious about everything. Just looking for reassurance from other mum and dad's. I still feel terrible about the whole thing. She seems fine in herself, just didnt know if have vaccinations after a bump could be dangerous or not.

@LetsRunAwayFromTheLight Yes he does, he's been very careful since and still feels dreadful. I still feel dreadful too and I was in the kitchen.

Are you getting any help with you anxiety? Have you seen your GP? 💐

Wolfiefan · 23/09/2025 16:18

Are you having help with the anxiety?

Sidge · 23/09/2025 16:47

The main reason we wouldn’t vaccinate would be if she had a high fever or was acutely unwell.

I’m sure she’ll give fine to have them.
